Anambra 2010: another obstacle for Soludo

PDP’s governorship candidate for the 2010 gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s road to becoming the next governor of that State gets murkier, as the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal, presided over by Justice Mary Odili, has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to recognize him as the PDP candidate for the election billed to hold February 6, 2010. The reason for this judgment is based on the fact that a suit before it challenging Soludo’s nomination has not been dispensed with.
